A tiny shop with a big impact
I've mentioned Toonsbridge mozzarella before, made from the milk of a stunning looking buffalo herd in Toonsbridge, Cork. Yesterday I passed the old creamery where the cheese is being produced and saw that they now have a tiny little shop open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Owned by Toby Simmonds of The Real Olive Co. the shop stocks olives, cured meats, feta and mozzarella from the buffalo herd, wines, olive oils and much more. Probably the smallest shop I've ever been into but a definite example of small being beautiful. Wanting everything, I bought mozzarella, olives and some black pudding made in Ballyvourney, Co.Cork. Another inspiring local business.
